Certification Requirements:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Certified: Professional
  • Hashi Corp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Azure Solutions Architect: Certified

What skills and experience do I need?:

  • 10 Years of day-to-day Experience with infrastructure and cloud providers.
  • Strong client facing services experience.
  • Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable and secure cloud solutions in support of serverless, containerised and complex containerised application contexts.
  • Experience in cloud migrations including on-premises hybrid, tenant-to-tenant and cross-platform migration.
  • Other cloud experience useful.

What will you be doing:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting cloud solutions that are production ready and cater for monitoring, compliance, security and observability requirements.
  • Designing and implementing automation pipelines for continuous integration and delivery using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting the performance, availability, and security of cloud systems using appropriate tooling and services.
  • Working closely with various teams and stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensuring that solutions align with overall cloud strategy and defined reference architectures.
  • Working with the broader technical leadership group to ensure that reference architectures are updated, maintained and kept current.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to all DevOps engineers and other team members, actively supporting their growth.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and DevOps processes and ensure that the team is aware of them.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that solutions are integrated and aligned with existing systems.
  • Developing and implementing processes and best practices for cloud solution development and delivery.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to address them.
