Think of Mafiro as a smart matchmaking platform for jobs. Companies post their open positions, and anyone can recommend a fantastic candidate from their network. The best part? If your recommended candidate gets hired, you get paid!

Whether you're making a single, brilliant recommendation or building a career out of connecting talent with opportunity, Mafiro welcomes you.
Once you join the Mafiro app, a whole world of job openings opens up, each with its own exciting reward for a successful hire. And guess what? There's absolutely no limit to how many candidates you can recommend. If your candidate nails the recruitment process and lands the job, that reward is yours!
Is Mafiro free? And what about my privacy?
Good news! Mafiro is completely free for both those looking to find a job and those looking to refer candidates (we call them "recruiters" on our platform, no matter how many times you refer).
We also understand that confidentiality is super important, especially if you're an HR professional or recruiter. So, here's our promise: your identity as a referrer will NOT be revealed to any company. This is crucial for maintaining an objective recruitment process. Companies post jobs, and you, as a referrer, connect candidates to those postings. You earn success fees for successful placements, creating a beneficial ecosystem for everyone without compromising your privacy.
Getting paid: how do I claim my Reward?
You've made a great referral, and your candidate got hired – awesome! Now, about that reward:

Legal entity? Easy bank transfer: If you have a legally recognized business entity, simply send us an invoice for the agreed amount, and we'll transfer your payment directly via bank transfer.

No legal entity? Voucher option: If you don't have a legal entity, no worries! We can arrange payment in the form of a voucher, which we'll mutually agree upon.
Friendly heads-up: The very first time you recommend a candidate, a quick pop-up will appear. This is just to confirm you're on board with our terms: bank transfer for legal entities, or a voucher if you don't have one. We want everything to be crystal clear from the start!
When do I get paid?
Patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to successful placements! To ensure everything is solid, the recommended candidate needs to complete the employer's probation period. This is a standard practice that ensures the hire is truly a long-term fit.
Once that probation period ends, you'll receive your payment within 60 working days, or as soon as the hiring company sends us the payment. We typically sign a service agreement with you when your recommended candidate is hired through the platform.
Remember, the referral reward amounts shown on the platform are always GROSS amounts. This means any taxes or deductions are your responsibility; Mafiro won't cover those beyond the specified reward.
What happens after I recommend a candidate?
Each company sets its own recruitment process for every role, and you'll see these steps clearly outlined in every job description. Once your candidate is approved by Mafiro (usually within a few hours after our quick CV analysis), their profile is sent to the company, and the process begins. The company will then contact your candidate directly.
Here's a quick look at the statuses you'll see as your candidate moves through the process:

Pending: Your recommendation is waiting for Mafiro's quick review (usually a few hours) to ensure it's a match before being sent to the company.

Not selected: Your candidate isn't a match for this particular role. But don't worry! You can recommend them for other suitable roles, or we might even suggest one for them. You can also get feedback by clicking 'Check Progress' in the 'Candidates' section.

Interview process: Exciting times! This status covers various stages:

Initial screening: The company is assessing your candidate's profile.

Interview: Your candidate has an interview scheduled, usually with HR.

Technical assessment: A technical interview is on the cards.

Offer: Your candidate has received a job offer, and the company is awaiting their decision.

Hired: Success! Your candidate has accepted the offer and completed the hiring paperwork.
The exact progression of these stages varies by company. Before each step, the hiring company will reach out to the candidate directly.
Pro-tip for referrers: It's a great idea to stay in touch with your candidate! They might have questions or important updates about their experience that could be useful. This proactive communication ensures a smooth journey for everyone.
What if the salary range isn't public?
We get it – transparency is key for candidates, and knowing the potential compensation is a big deal. While companies have the option to keep salary ranges confidential, we understand you might want to know.

What if I don't hear back from the company?
While we work hard to ensure smooth communication, there can be rare instances where a candidate doesn't progress. These situations are sometimes beyond our control and could include:

The company is overwhelmed with applications.

They're already far along in evaluating other candidates.

They've extended an offer to someone else and are just waiting for confirmation.
At Mafiro, we're constantly in touch with companies to minimize these occurrences, but some things are out of our hands. We always strive for transparency in addressing these situations.
GDPR consent: A crucial step for your candidates
At Mafiro, we take privacy very seriously. To comply with GDPR, your referred candidates must provide their consent before their CV and personal data are shared with potential employers.
Here’s how it works:

Consent email: As soon as you refer a candidate, they'll receive an email asking for their consent. Without this consent, their information won't be sent to the employer, the recruitment process won't begin, and you won't be eligible for the referral reward. This is a critical step!
You can easily check if your candidate has accepted the GDPR consent by clicking on the role you recommended them for, or by checking "All Job Applications" to see their consent status.
Recruiter confidentiality: your Identity is safe
If you're a recruiter or HR professional making recommendations on Mafiro, rest assured: your identity will remain confidential. Our main goal is to support you and help you succeed without disclosing your involvement to others. Your privacy is paramount to us throughout your Mafiro journey.
Can I recommend the same candidate for more than one role?
Absolutely! Yes, you can. Recommending your candidate for multiple roles dramatically increases their chances of a successful hire and, consequently, your chance at a reward. Just remember, your candidate needs to accept the GDPR terms for each role they've been recommended for within the platform.
Is there a maximum number of candidates I can recommend?
Nope! Feel free to recommend as many candidates as you like for each job role, or across similar roles. The more quality candidates you recommend, the higher your chances of earning a reward. Just keep in mind that you can't recommend the same candidate for the same job role if they were previously not selected for it.
The dynamics of relationships on Mafiro
Mafiro thrives on clear communication. Here’s how the relationships work:

You (recruiter) to candidate & Mafiro: You'll be the primary point of contact for your candidates and will communicate regularly with the Mafiro platform.

Candidate to you (recruiter) & company: Your referred candidates will communicate with you and with the company during the recruitment process.

Company to Mafiro & candidate: The hiring company will talk directly with candidates in the recruitment process and also with Mafiro.

Mafiro to you (Recruiter) & company: Mafiro acts as the central hub, facilitating communication between you (the referrer) and the hiring company throughout the journey.
