What skills & qualifications are we looking for in the right candidates:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental related areas/ Economics / Construction / Architecture or other relevant technical fields, with an excellent academic record. A Master’s degree in Environmental
  • Science/Environmental Engineering or Economics would be a plus
  • University degree in environmental science, construction, engineering, business/finance, economics, or another ESG-related subject
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability concepts & certifications, environmental regulations, industry best practices
  • Excellent understanding of the Design/ Planning/ Technical/ Construction and Project Management process
  • Understanding of EU and Romanian environmental legislation is a plus knowledge of the national and EU environmental regulatory framework
  • Familiarity with the sustainability reporting frameworks (CSRD and/or GRI) standard is a plus
  • Technical certification in environmental related areas (e.g. waste management, environmental management systems, sustainability reporting frameworks, green certification systems LEED, BREEAM,
  • WELL, etc.) would be a plus
  • Internships, out of the box experiences (e.g. volunteering projects) and/or international exposure would be a plus
  • Effective communication skills, critical thinking, curiosity and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to use appropriate business and technical language in professional reports

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Keeping up to date on marketplace and ESG regulatory topics and trends, and apply insights during the delivery of engagements as new ESG regulations emerge and laws change
  • Develop or implement new processes, policies or solutions to ensure both compliance and operational efficiency
  • Manage a wide range of projects on time and within budget (e.g green certifications, sustainability reporting and assurance, ESG strategy development, waste management plans, GHG management and decarbonization plans, waste traceability audit, environmental impact and due diligence studies, ESG Due diligence etc.)
  • Contact & meet new potential clients
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Set-up new business goals for the development team and ensure they are met
  • Prepare bids and commercial offers
  • Prepare research materials, budgets, offers, events or marketing materials for internal and external purposes
  • Collaborate with the project management team to integrate environmental sustainability services
  • Develop environmental performance metrics & reporting
  • Act as first point of contact for internal related support requests from CWE staff and externally, from
  • CWE clients
  • Carry out training sessions with CWE employees
  • Support project planning activities under sustainability aspects (LCA calculation, cost calculation, contract comments, green leases)
  • Stay ahead of the curve on market trends and emerging ESG regulations, incorporating fresh insights into client engagements
  • Develop and implement solutions for ESG compliance and operational efficiency
